dc.descriptionThis article analyzes the legislative activities of the EU institutions, the role of the EU Council, the European Parliament and the Commission, which form the socalled «institutional triangle» in this activity, and also their relationships. Examined correlation of the concepts «legislative» and «law-making process» in the EU, which allowed clearly formulate meaning of «law-making process» in the EU. One of the main tasks of the research was to reveal the manifestation of supranational law-making of institutions of the European Union. For this purpose, have been considered decision-making procedures that are used in various areas of the integration process, and the role of the main EU institutions involved in the law-making process. As a result of research it is determined how and in what areas the supranational and intergovernmental traits are combined in lawmaking activities of the EU institutions.en_US
