dc.description	In the article the research of peculiarities of the lexical and semantic peculiarities as well as pragmatic factors of the indirect requestive utterances of the modern Ukrainian language has been made. The analysis has revealed that requestive sentences like any other semantic and pragmatic types of utterances with imperative meaning are made up dew to a particular combination of subjective and modal implications. One of the following modal meaning – possibility, willingness or necessity – are generally expressed in order to provide for distinction of different types of imperative meaning. Each of these meanings counteracts with the assessment of actions, processes and states thus influencing the type of illocution. The impact of the pragmatic factors on forming an illocutive meaning of requestives has been studied. The understanding of the correlation between the modal meaning of an utterance and the communicative situation – the interlocutors and specific communicative conditions – causes the referring to the pragmatic analysis of indirect requstive utterances: interpreting a requestive with regard to the communicative situation facilitates to comprehensive and detailed description of the development of illocutive meaning of requestive utterances.	en
dc.description.abstract	У статті проведений аналіз лексико-семантичних, а також прагматичних особливостей реквестивних висловлень сучасної української літературної мови. Встановлено, що реченням-реквестивам, як і кожному з інших семантико-прагматичних різновидів спонукання, відповідає певний набір суб’єктивно-модальних значень. Доведено вплив прагматичних чинників на формування спонукального значення таких речень.	en
dc.description.abstract	В статье проведен анализ лексико-семантических, а также прагматических особенностей реквестивных высказываний современного украинского литературного языка. Установлено, что предложениям-реквестивам, как и другим семантико-прагматическим разновидностям побуждения, характерен определенный набор субъективно-модальных значений. Выявлено влияние прагматических факторов на формирование побудительного значения таких предложений.	-
