Abstract
The article is devoted to the analysis of the concept of «diminished sanity» in the criminal law of Ukraine. It is proposed to construct a formula of diminished sanity using a similar scientific approach like to insanity. The author's definition of medical and legal criteria of diminished sanity is given, their signs and essence are considered.
