Knowledge society: a creative model for Ukrainian realities

Abstract

У статті аналізуються виклики та можливості, що постають перед українським суспільством у контексті глобальних змін, а також запропоновані підходи до формування інноваційного середовища, здатного стимулювати розвиток людського капіталу, креативності та міждисциплінарної взаємодії. Продемонстровано, що поняття «суспільство знань» виходить за межі традиційного уявлення про інформаційне суспільство, акцентуючи увагу не лише на доступі до інформації, а й на здатності її осмислювати, трансформувати та творчо застосовувати. Суспільство знань розглядається як концептуальна модель соціального устрою, в якому знання, інформація та інтелектуальний капітал виступають ключовими ресурсами розвитку, влади та добробуту. Запропонована креативна модель суспільства знань, функціонування якої базується на принципах відкритості, інклюзивності, етичності, інноваційності, безперервного навчання тощо. Обґрунтовується, що основу суспільства знань формують освітні та наукові інституції, технології, людський потенціал і соціальні процеси.The article analyzes the challenges and opportunities facing Ukrainian society in the context of global changes, and proposes approaches to forming an innovative environment capable of stimulating the development of human capital, creativity, and interdisciplinary in¬teraction. The analysis shows that the concept of the knowledge society extends beyond the traditional understanding of the information society, emphasizing not only access to infor¬mation but also the ability to comprehend, transform, and creatively apply it. The knowledge society is viewed as a conceptual model of social structure in which knowledge, information, and intellectual capital act as the key resources for development, power, and prosperity. The article proposes a creative model of the knowledge society, the functioning of which is based on the principles of openness, inclusivity, ethics, innovativeness, continuous learning, and oth¬ers. It is substantiated that the foundation of the knowledge society is formed by educational and scientific institutions, technologies, human potential, and social processes.
