Abstract
Description
In connection with the drafting of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, the debate about diminished sanity in criminal law renewed. The article considers historical prerequisites of this problem, the main controversial points of scientific discussion of limited sanity are noted. The author's vision in favor of legislative consolidation of this concept is stated, the significance of such a decision is noted.
