Abstract
Рассмотрены вопросы соотношения общей методологии и частных методик, осуществляющих познавательные функции при проведении исследований в отдельных видах криминалистических экспертиз. Указаны источники происхождения методик, возникающие в процессе экспертной практики и заимствованные из других отраслей знаний с соответствующей корректировкой.
Розглянуто питання співвідношення загальної методології й окремих методик, що здійснюють пізнавальні функції при проведенні досліджень з окремих видів криміналістичних експертиз. Зазначено джерела походження методик, що виникають у процесі експертної практики та запозичені з інших галузей знань з відповідним корегуванням.

Description
The article deals with the interpretation of basic scientific methodologies with the application to specific expert study methods including criminalistic examinations. It proves that the use of such dialectic categories as analysis and synthesis, cause and effect, substance and phenomenon, identity or difference as well as others, brings about the cognition in a specific field. It justifies that the sources of specific study methods in criminalistic examination may include both general scientific approaches and such methods as: a) borrowed from other areas of knowledge; b) created within the theory and criminalistic practical work; c) own methodological approaches to the study, developed from own practices; d) conditioned by situational circumstances (unexpected in the expert’s routine practice). Using the examples of traditional expert studies and new studies that emerge on the border with various areas of knowledge, the article shows their importance for the creation of new criminalistic methods. The article also covers the problems with creating data base of specific methods that present a foundation for the necessary specific method unification.
