| Abstract: | У статті розкриваються причини розробки у другій половині ХІХ – на початку ХХ ст. концепції об’єднання народів Центральної і Східної Європи навколо Германської імперії в рамках міждержавного об’єднання Серединної Європи. Аналізуються концептуальні розробки європейських геополітиків, передусім Ф. Науманна, які було покладено в основу цього об’єднання. Аргументується висновок, відповідно до якого Серединна Європа повинна була забезпечити мирним шляхом необхідний Германській імперії життєвий простір, оформити її гегемонію в об’єднанні і забезпечити статус великої держави. В статье раскрываются причины разработки во второй половине ХІХ – в начале ХХ в. концепции объединения народов Центральной и Восточной Европы вокруг Германской империи в рамках межгосударственного объединения Срединной Европы. Анализируются концептуальные разработки европейских геополитиков, в частности Ф. Науманна, которые были положены в основу данного объединения. Аргументируется вывод, что Срединная Европа должна была обеспечить мирным путем необходимое Германской империи жизненное пространство, утвердить ее гегемонию в объединении и обеспечить статус великой державы. |
| Description: | The article deals with the reasons of elaborating the concept of peoples’ association of Central and Eastern Europe around the German Empire within the framework of intergovernmental association Middle Europe in the second half of the XIXth – the beginning of the XXth centuries. Conceptual elaborations of European geopoliticians, foremost the works of F. Naumann, are analyzed, which were put into the basis of this association. The escence of key notions of F. Naumann’s conception, especially as for the institutional organization of power, determination of priority and correlation of different integration process constituents, in particular economic and military-political constituents, mutual relations of the created union and states-members. The conception of Middle Europe contained both integration and isolating potential, as it envisaged the association of not all European countries, but only the states of Central and East Europe. Accordingly, in the article we have concluded that Middle Europe had to provide a needed vital space for the German Empire in a peaceful way, guarantee its hegemony in the association and provide a status of the great state. |
